they're just bluffing naive kids most of the time when they say that. i was tilting recently and had like 10 games where someone started complaining about me or claiming they reported me. yet actually i was reported only in a single game, albeit by 3 different players.
@kappastorm it's gendered. It's extremely hard to handle terms like this, because they mean different things in different places, and for a lot of people, it's not an issue at all.
But the reality is that it is exclusionary to many people, and it doesn't have any legitimate use outside of being edgy.
Just because nobody is saying that it's a problem doesn't mean that it's not a problem. A lot of the people that would be excluded by gendered terms don't say anything because they've already left, and for those that are still here, and are bothered by it, it's a time-consuming and boring fight to fight, so they don't bring it up.
Not true. You can't write the f word. I challenge you to find a single person (outside some southern baptist christian church) who is actually offended by that word.

But thats how its works, if you are gay and you blatantly proclaim that all straight men/women are fgts, by social conventions you are spared of the punishment
@the butcher
im pretty sure it doesnt make any sense since you agreed on terms and conditions back then when installing dota, and your personal statistics being not private there, was a part of the agreement.
dotabuff, as far as i understand, is not affiliated with steam neither uses any "secret" source of information. the actual data is provided by steam.
If they say "reported" you might as well flame them to your hearts content you got nothing to lose

Just behave guys, not that hard. They still allow us to curse so it's not the end of the world.
lmfao they already took the tick stuff down
Yeah, it just has a reminder now. Well, that was fast.
The checkbox is still there for the first time you post. I thought a small reminder would be more pleasant to see on a regular basis.
"Cursing is allowed"

I do not agree to the Dotabuff Code of Conduct.
^ this is the stupidest shit ive ever heard
I do not agree to the Dotabuff Code of Conduct.
Am I still allowed to take the piss out of people asking about their smurf account? Or people blaming their teammates for being stuck in the trench?
I wouldn't categorise it as harassment. More cold hard truth...
Hell..it's about time we cleaned up this place (saying that with a Duke Nukem accent)
^ yeah, lets replace mods for strippers!
im fine with that aslong as the strippers are midgets and males
^ we should be tolerant towards all sexual orientations, because the new dbuff is tolerant and full of all colourful love. #dbuffHippie2016
