Right-Click to Force Attack in General Discussion

I've been using A + S to deny creep all the time, and I know about this Right-Click to Force Attack feature but I'm too lazy to change or try to do it, but today I realized most pro players has been using it to easier their deny hit.

Should I use that feature? What is pros and cons if you use this option?

I've been using it for a while now and I like it. Just removes another button you have to press.

So If I enabled it I should remove A ? And probably use it for another hotkeys?

Nevermind, I need A for auto attack through the map as micro heroes.

You still can use A for microing your units but just you will not have to press A while denying creeps so I suggest you to use it.

no, you still need your hotkey for denies. if you want to deny your tower or items you still have to press it.

summer scrub fixed the downside of this setting

I've been using right click to force attack for like 5y, and in the last year I switched to default settings. Why? It's way harder to misclick this way. From time to time instead getting last hit, I walked towards the enemy. I also use smart attack, and quick attack. I think there was BSJ video about how superior this method is to others.

But why a lot of pro players prefer to enabled this setting?

I mean I can't even think of the downside by enabling it, maybe the only downside I can think of is that when you try to follow (move) your ally doing smoke or something you can accidentally attack an enemy instead of just follow but it's not a very big deal since I can just move on my own.

Prevents you from having to click an extra button and allows you to spam stop much more consistently while priming your last hit. I use it with auto-repeat mouse click for everything. My actions per minute are probably through the roof due to this feature. Saves me lots of clicking and allows me to chase more fluidly.

I wonder how you can even do that with press A to attack :D

                      Its just too slow.

Also what I’ve seen on lower brackets. People never use S to stop spell animation that is going to miss the target, like Slithereen Crush or Call. And it often cost you the teamfight.

I lose mouse balance if i last hit with a right click. Guess i’m too used to a+left click to make a change at this stage. So force last hit/deny just doesn’t appeal to me, probably somrtjing i will never use

I use (H)old to cancel animations. Last hits and spells. And obviously autoattack nearest target OFF. If i want that i just attack ground
