              4 is one of the flashiest and impactful roles in the game, you can’t go wrong watching a top team’s 4 position.

                Is quickcast mandatory to be able to play support?

                And in your opinions, in average, how much gold a pos 5 and a pos 4 can amass in a 40~ minutes game?

                  SoNNeikO imo

                  smurfs = no balls

                    yapzor and fy are hands down the best pos4 players... for pos5 idk, they usually dont have that big plays but i guess puppey, ppd and kuro just because they are legendary players?

                        @S!silàh

                        I don't use quickcast. In theory it can help but as a support having good understanding of the game is far more important than reactions.

                        The skillset that I value most is the ability to visualise what the game will look like in 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes...

                        If you have excellent visualisation, you will have the information needed to make the right calls.

                        Re: Support gold

                        Your question is far too vague to be useful. Gold on supports varies from game to game and hero to hero so much. For example, Rubicks will normally take a lot more farm than any other 4 position, so you'd expect Rubick to almost be core level of farm and the 5 partner to be a hard 6.

                        On the other hand, you may end up having 2 supps which both do well with farm and the farm balance is much closer.

                        Also, the cores in the game will also determine support farm. For example, if you have Timber, TA, WK tricore, good luck having any farm on the supports, because you have three cores who all need farm to be functional.

                        On the other hand, if you have Bounty Hunter, WR, Centaur tricore, you have a heavy ganking lineup where the supps will both be rich from track gold if you're winning so you have 5 cores, but a pos 4 and pos 6 if you are losing.

                        TL;DR: There's no such thing as an expected amount of gold for both supps to have: each game is unique and will look different. What you can do is talk to your supp partner: "I will be hard 6, let me buy all items", or "I need this force staff, can you buy wards until I have it? Thanks", or "I have no gold, can anyone buy smoke please?"

                          Make sense, thanks a lot for the insight.
