A lot of factors go into matchmaking now. Language, location, ping, and a few other things. Not everyone is gonna have the same queue times, some will be shorter and some will be longer.

General DiscussionDota plus and waiting time
So i think people who did not buy dota plus, get a longer matchmaking time. I tested this so far only on a few cases: when i am partying with friends with dota plus we find the game faster than when i party with non-dotaplus friends. But that is not enough observations. How is it going for you, guys?
