the damage amp (i think) is only the max value in melee range and you cant really stand in melee range or you will die.

you better have a good lane. this hero is literally the slowest farmer in the game that i can think of.

Undying is prob the worst farming hero in dota, probably every support has a fast way to farm and all of them can out farm him at a certain point. You need to have a very good lane with a stable mid game to make him viable and a strong damage dealer n team fights.

Worst farmer in the game but he gets the most gpm from lvl 10 talents. They buffed his tumbstone recently, maybe with next patch he's gonna be super op?

Undying is not the worst farmer, you can stack and use tombstone. Bane, Oracle and skywrath have a much harder time farming imo.

The problem with undying in later stages of the game is that if he did not have a good lane or has not farmed up anything, he will be a walking "hey kill me first and make your teamfight much easier" creep. Other than that, he is really scary in the right hands and proper timings.

He doesn't win every lane, by a long shot, actually, he's either really rekt by, or useless against, some of the currently powerful heroes. Good niche pick, sure, but he doesn't do anything against a solo bloodseeker, necro or veno (well as far as necro goes, necro has to get boots early and keep lane equilibrium), and no sane person is going to put a trilane against him. Still, though, in a dual lane with underlord or some other gay lane dominator shit he's reaaaaaaally strong against trilanes but also solo heroes and weak dual lanes. Also he destroys Sven, and Troll in lane, though he is useless against troll later when troll can destroy the tomb really easily (though some skill goes into timing and positioning of the tomb, so you can remedy this).

Definitely a hero you want to pick to dominate SOME lanes, I just feel like in a lot of cases you're better off picking something else.

farming with a high cooldown abilit thats better then some ultis that completely destroys sub 4k mmr teamfights :)))

undying is good against low HP agility heros and Luna. 2 decays and you kill her with 3 right clicks.
