id rather just get to pick and choose people who need to be muted and mute them quickly than miss out completely
Funny how I'm all high and mighty in muting people and letting others know of this, but I might've been muted by tons of ppl myself
i never tell people they are muted, its pointless because you will never hear anything from them and has a chance to tilt them more
I am a shutin nerd whos only thoughts revolve solely around defense of the ancients. I haven't seen a woman in 8 years let alone touched one. My idea of exercise is when I walk from my computer to my fridge. Without this single minded dedication to the game it is unlikely I would be able to hit 4k let alone 6k. I would tell my friends about my virtual accomplishments but much like Buddhist monks who have to cast aside material possessions to reach true enlightenment, to become good at Dota you have to 100% sacrifice your social life.
the literally worst thing you could do in dota is listen to your low mmr teammates.
fix your own mistakes, because all they will do is teach you how to make more.
i remember i bought linken after yasha on troll cuz enemy had sb and i was the only one to have the brain to splitpush, i have this mute all chat enabled so i didnt see the chat but afterwards i was watching my replay both teams were luling me for getting linkens ))))
Whats the fun in Dota if you have everyone muted, may as well play with bots. Maybe it's just a cultural thing but I live and breathe allchat.
My favorites would be antimage and invoker
so thats why im having antimage instead of an actual carry every other game, he just doesnt rely on his team!
Exactly don't ever listen to your teammates <5k, there is a reason blind players are good at dota!

It depends on the player really. If you don't get triggered by people who write shit you can keep the chat unmuted.
