this game was so easy for u actually all u needed to do was just farm and make sure u dont die u get ur bs and then u farm even faster with it, I'm sure u can get a few kills here and there and u get ur orchid @ 18 - 22 mins somewhere in that range and the fun starts there, once u get a few more items game is just fucking over.

In low mmr you see more often the 5 hard carry instalose strat than a lineup with 3 supports. And... you are more likely to win with 3 supports than 0 (or 1).

Tho I'll try playing a hard support for you I will not be a ward-bitch, I'll try to farm up some items, because it's pointless to play literally a dedicated little bitch in 1k.
From what I've seen, players here are just not very efficient and seem to lack like, literally fundementals, eg; they won't push when given a chance, they will go some really questionable items, they will overextend a lot, they will fail to use part of active items, will miss ton of skillshots, etc.
So it's pointless to support someone at 1k that way. Just roam, or try to kill enemy offlaner and try to get fat/get lvls.
The bigest surprise for me tho, is the fact I actually underestimated 1k mmr. I thought they are much worse.
Honestly some players are really hard to differ from 2k or low 3k. They play the same, so I'm not really sure why are they 1k still.
I guess the fact that the difference between 1.5k and, let's say, 2.5k ain't as big as someone thinks doesn't go into their favor.
My point is, I used to think the difference is bigger and all those sayings about: "1k-3k" same shit trashtalking, but, after playing in 1k I have to agree we're all just bad and the difference is really small.

First game was Tinker, I'm 100% sure if I played better would've been an ez win.
Sec. game was Storm, I literally suck with Storm, so no excuses, my fault.
Third game was Tiny, Just underestimated 1k mmr again, and got rekt.
Wins include Slarks(so far no losses with him), one Shadow Fiend and Ursa.
I could just spam SF mid and get a big advantage and end games ~30 mins or sooner, but it's just boring.
The way I see this is that, putting myself mid as Slark and trying to lane against DP, SF or Sniper is more fun than playing SF.
Also I try to hit right timings with Slark with SB/Echo Sabre but I fail so often, mostly cuz my LH sucks a lot. Playing against ranged as Slark on mid doesn;t help either. Sometiems I also underestimate 1k. xD :/
But I always seem to catch up with a few kills and game goes into our favor.
From 40 games in 2k - 3k mmr range that I played not so long ago I lost 2 xd 1 game was literally me trying to kill all 5 enemy heroes cuz kunkka had some rapiers and a crit, so he just 1 shots my team and I'm the only 1 alive, I hope they knew that blink, hex, blademail and refresher were the items u needed in that game and not some useless garbage that they bought and also would be cool if they had more than 10k net worth on a core hero in a 70min game that would have helped a lot, I remember my safe laner was 0-12-2 xD some games are just unwinable even if they seem so easy for u.
For those who criticize me re: reporting the player who last pick Lion as a 'carry'. He did that despite me asking him repeatedly to pick a hard carry which was obvious what the team needed.
Also my one and only report would not have thrown him into LP.
Perhaps read in between the lines the next time?
Nice expirement mate! I'd loveeeeeeee to play some 1K games too. It's probably like old dota1 days where you could play any hero mid and win game :D. I can't imagine how you could lose storm mid though if you're 3k mmr higher, mayb their mid hero was smurf too? ;)

I never report ppl that are bad at the game or do stupid picks. Perhaps that Lion was also a flamer, perhaps you're a good guy, perhaps it's actually another guy (that you reported before him) that went into LP. but I still judged you because I REALLY hate ppl that report for bad reasons. WRT doing hardcore support to rise up the ranks in 1K: as Vertoxity implied it's going to be significantly harder.
You can be the best ward bitch in the world but if your Riki goes 0-18 there is very little you can do to salvage the situation as a support.
And I see a lot more matches being solo won by Slark than any other heroes that I can think of in this bracket. Slark is my first pick ban (until perhaps I start to learn how to use this bugger and his cheesy skills)
@giren well I'm not a 5k or 6k but my skill has improved since I started and I mostly play supp. As you can see and I've managed to get pretty decent win rate. But I don't play as regular hogh MMR supports like you see in high MMR game.
Problem is people don't see map and if you make a good kill for your carry he will probably miss it. Plus in 1k MMR people don't understand the value of farming in first 10 min. If you pull creep to maintain creep balance there's a huge chance your carry will tank enemy creeps and die. As hard supp it's unwinnable causeyou rely on team.
As semi supp it's easiest to win.
As carry it's still winable if you can farm.
In last patch I played venom jungle 4min lvl 6 with Aquila boots raindrop tp. Then I started roaming and never let enemy farm. I even went manta some times and desolator whenever we lacked a dedicated pusher in game.
I'm sure non of games I lost would've been lost if I had better focus or if I didn;t underestimate 1k. I tend to yolo and go davai mode, can't help it. So they just rape me because, apparently, 1ks love to 5man a lot.
I'll be taking a break, probably will play more tomorrow, or maybe later in the night.

As I said, I don't play Storm at all and I'm very bad at that hero.
It's not impossible to lose games here, you either underestimate them or you die a few times because you lose focus and boom, game is lost.
Obviously, in a long run I'll be able climb, let's say 100 MMR per day and 7 days = 700 MMR, which is doable.
Seems like that mindlessly picking heroes you want to play doesn;t work, at least for me. Just got one more loss with OD. xd
