General DiscussionMonitor change from 19 to 22 inches

i changed it a couple times, from 15.6 to 17.3 to 19
from my experience, it feels sooo weird at first, because having a bigger monitor doesnt allow you to see more things in game, it just makes everything look bigger and it made me forgot everything i know for my first game with bigger monitor lol i couldnt play. but u get used to it fast. I wouldn't upgrade my monitor just for playing dota. ıf you have something else in mind, go ahead buy it. Bigger monitor changes alot if you are in to fps games but not much in dota imo.

Hmm I feel like u lose information from your field of view which is kinda important in Dota. But if it doesn't affect you then why not. Also why would it change your mouse sensitivity?

I changed from 1200x1020 to 1900x1080, 2 bot games and i am playing even better

but hes not talking about resolution, of course higher res is always better

80% of people plays dota on 22 inches right, pros do also I guess its more nice I guess just needs a bit to get used to it

Hm as I can see pros usually play on 24 inches

Speaking of settings, my camera speed is 4500 is that fine. What is yours?

I'm using a 24 inches Asus monitor, totally fine in my opinion.

(1680x1050 tp 1920x1080)
took me a longass time to get used to, like a month at least

I play on 27 inch Mac display. It's very nice once to get used to the real estate available to you. Not to mention if you got nice skins like arcana and stuff.

I don't think you'll notice much, are they both 16x9 resolutions? Really it just means you can sit a little further away from your monitor if you want.

Especially when you 5k+ i would highly recommend you to get 1ms lcd
