It's economy. If you're roaming and have no mana or HP (or, sometimes, just mana, if you're very mana dependent for ganking) you can spend your gold and suicide to neutrals. This means you get a free trip to the fountain which, if you are low level, pays off. Then you can tp to any lane with full hp and mana or just walk to a lane you want to gank, and have a tp ready for rotations.

if you got killed by neutral, enemy team wont get any gold for killing you, so it is just like you deny yourself

if youre a support who diverged the path in order to throw the enemies off your carry, running to a neutral camp is the most disrespectful thing you can do bcs its like you threw the enemy team's effort into the trash by awarding them with nothing

Lets say you can deny urself and respawn in 5-10 seconds or you can walk back to your base for 20 seconds + 10 seconds yo heal to full, there is the logic.

Just dont forget to spend all ur gold before you do so.

Hero that does this often is pudge, sky,es. They do this to get a free tp to fountain but remember to spend all of your gold

It affects your KDA obviously.

Low levels after buying out to go to base faster than walking, besides enemy team gets nothing if you die to neutrals.

Edit: who cares about kda/stats if it helps you win the game...

Pudge. Get first blood and if you don't have enough mana or hp for another kill just rot away and come back in 7 seconds. So amazing, your stats might not look good but as long as you win you win

So you dont have to waste 2 minutes to walk to base, buy a tp and small itens them denie yourself.

used to do it back in the days i did 2 lvl rosh with ursa , low mana low hp after getting morbid mask so a suicide to neutrals isnt anything bad i respawn in 3 seconds and im ready to rosh
