dragon lance is considered pretty core on tb or at least it has, maybe not as much with the couple of nerfs but its not a bad item at all
The range is really great, but i'm starting to think to get an early point bouster instead of it, with all those str nerf
I wud never get sny on tb over manta. Even in early fighting manta can completely destroy heroes with meta dmg. Dlance is core its stats r soo nice. I go pms or wraith band starting, then whichever one i didnt start with, boots, aquila, dlance, yasha, BoTs, manta, skadi, butterfly. Insert situational linkens, bkb, even daedalus tho its better to get stats. Maybe daed against underlord. Maybe stack skadis if they get mkb. Otherwise u can even stack butters and ur illusions will be almost immune to towers with their evasion.
It's extremely good. He's an illusion hero so stats help there, he only wants to fight with meta up so range helps there. He has high armor but low hp naturally so the hp helps there. Really it's perfect item for him
Manta illusions get metamorph damage and their range is helped by lance, not to mention the great stat it gives
SnY only gives slow on your main hero, some damage, and some health, yasha and dlance already gives you as much
I just buy sange early game just for the survivability......and the main, he’s extremely bad on chasing down heroes tho :I.
But yeah manta actually is a better item now that i thought about it.
Yeah i’ve actually thought if a drum can substitute a sange is wise, but i’ve been having 2nd thoughts of the strngth gain and damage.

Tb has enough hp with lance and manta, maybe throw in Aquila and bkb and then he gets Skadi anyway.
manta is better than sy, but only cause they trashed the slow of sy (and to some extend cause he can barely fight anymore, unless huge setup (before having 3+ big item or 2 big item + lot of little one)
dragon lance is a good item with cheap price, its good on tb because you will have extended range attack when metamorphosis, and for SnY thats good but i think u better build it if you are on low mmr, because just IF we nearly have no disable. TB got high damage but its kinda hard to solo kill if u dont have ur sunder ready. so u need disable and you attacking from range.dragon lance have nearly the same stats as SnY , except the maim and move speed and a lot cheaper !.

I've been wondering on how beneficial dragon lance is to tb on early-mid game.
Since base armor is already (correct me if im wrong) 10 and by buying dragon lance his base armor will increase by 2 and his health by 260, which already makes him tanky which can minimize my use of his ss and also increases the range of his 3rd :D (duh). Im just wondering if its wise than building a SY directly after sange then sell it later to get, idk , skadi, bkb, you get my point. (Same question to spec too lol)
