anyone able to help? just very curious. i leveled once from 25 to 30 so i am wondering if it's a bug.
Your account level starts growing as soon as you make an account, but experience trophy was added fairly recently with everyone starting at 1. He has probably played longer then you, but you have played for more hours since the experience trophy came out.
But there are things that increase your level without increasing experience. If he participates in fantasy Dota, watches professional matches, and buys skins. And you don't, that could explain it also.
i spent $1000 at least on this game. have more skins than him. account started last september. he used to be around my level. i was 26 and he was 28. now he's so much higher. cant seem to understand how d2 counts experience.

My account level is 35 and my experience trophy is level 133. My friend's account is level 45 but his experience trophy is only 90+. Why is this? Why is my account level lower than his? I play only unranked games and he plays ranked games. Does this affect the account experience level? Please enlighten. Thanks.
