Farming build:
Brown boots, soulring/bottle depending on lane, radiance, BoT, Manta, Octarine, AC, Shivas/Abyssal, moonshard, aghsspam
Fighting build:
Pt, solar, blink, AC, HoT/Bfly/Bkb, Abyssal, moonshard, Aghsspam
other builds don't make sense or are very situational.
I like the first one. I was just wondering why top alch players go Shivas instead of Abyssal for more lockdown ?

it's because alchemist isnt really a carry that needs to do dmg with that build. He is more a tank that takes the damage. See him more as an axe, bristle or centaur.

nah, your main problem with alchemist is simple, you don't farm fast enough. You probably need to fix that. If you can farm properly and get freefarm for 10mins, you won the game.

GPM, HD, TD and Lasthits. Compare that to yours, then you know what you have to work on.
Im 4.5 k so im still improving. I have problems with making decisions when to gank or not, help team or keep farming. Often i end up running around looking for kills and geting none istead of farming. Or tping to teamfight and end up dying. So I guess u are right.
EDIT: To have more than 1.1 k gpm u have to have deceent supportst. Many times my sups refuse to stack and i have to do it myslef.
I've been trying many different builds on Alch recently and came to a conclusion that this build might be most balanced. What u think about that ?
starting: stout + quelling + tangos (+bottle if on mid)
brown boots into radiance (ususally 11 min) ; then upgrade boots to BoT ; after that an initiating/escape item blink or silver egde (depends on game); after that some armor so AC, then BKB followed by abyssal blade(or some other dmg item).
After that moonshard + scepter for stats.
So it would look like: BoT, Radiance, Silver Edge(or blink), AC, BKB, Abysall (+moonshard, scepter)
Personally im starting to hate the octarine build cos i prefer ganking build rather than split pushing build. What u think about this ?

ask ur team to pick heroes that benefit from aghs a lot and rush aghs for all of ur teammates = 100% win rate Kappa
^ its not that kappa as it seems to be, as long as u get 6-slotted and then spam them. Like Kathy said u have to farm extremely fast and every game is ez +25
