I guess that could be a factor but its infrequent that you need the high-damage cleave - SoF has such a short cooldown you will rarely be able to use it straight away (only 6 seconds). Still seems pretty strong to get half a rapier of damage every 30 secs.
and before u mention kunkka, ember doesnt rely on heavy burst during teamfights, while the way people played kunkka back when he was popular was the one-hit.
and if u say you need burst for ur solo kill pick-offs then thats the same thing as any typical shadowblade user
btw this also works for gyro, which has slightly more synergy.
A crystalis with battlefury does more damage on average than a shadow blade with battlefury, and that's on 28 sec cooldown, and more expensive. It also builds into daedalus and isn't shit. Ember is all about scaling damage by the number of units you hit, or by the amount of raw damage you already have, so you stack battlefuries and daedali that work together, the initial damage from sb doesn't work with crit, which is a big aspect of the hero.
So just don't.

Never knew this: "If Sleight of Fist is cast during the fade time of Shadow Blade, each target receives the bonus damage of Shadow Walk."
+175 damage per target, which you can cleave off, seems imbalanced. Why do people not buy shadowblade on this hero? Is it a simple lack of knowledge or skill to utilise effectively, or are there other issues I haven't considered?
