I didn't but if you pick the right supports for lower MMR you should be able to. I'd favour the following heroes for support picks for a number of reasons:
-Ogre, destroys weak lanes, given some farm and some luck you'll wreck enemy squishies and supports.
-Skywrath, zones enemy laners. Crazy damage. Scales really fucking well.
-Lina, damage. Solo-pick potential. Zoning. AoE stun.
-Venge, creates pick opportunities and makes it easy to take Rosh. Hard to make the wrong plays.
The common theme is that these supports have solo-kill potential. You aren't as reliant on your team to make stuff happen. Of course, I'm a Normal Skill Support player who doesn't play ranked so someone who actually calibrated there from the jump or climbed using a particular set of heros would be able to give you better advice.
its possible i know someone who got 4.2k solo 4.1k party. he play full support until he is able to calibrate his mmr
