If you have a naix with 5k+ gold he doesn't spend on other things early enough that they can't kill the ancient creep fast enough, you're in almost all cases better off getting your actual naix items and killing everyone.
Most cases:
1) Gather the team and kill the creep
2) Kill the naix who's squishy as fuck because he doesn't have anything but pt radiance at best.
its retarded but its not armlet-io sort of retarded - radiance LS actually works (rather seldom, though)
No it's not legit. Naix offlane pushing all lanes once lvl 6 is legit though. (With ancients if that wasn't obvious)
@road to oblivion
You can't say that, the 17% miss chance actually is significant.
Can you toggle radiance while infested? It can potentially ruin you if you're running away and infest lane creep on a lane that's pushing...
I had one of the funnest games of my life with a radiance ancient Life Stealer on my team, game went super late, and team fights were epic, he did manage to farm so items at least, and did more with only 3 slot than i thought. XD But seeing him waste time in that ancient creep does get annoying.
this is not good, but i got a good trick on ancient dragon.
use dragons Q, press R, press E kill him asap
The ancients are pretty good early game to run around in at level 6 and push towers with your team, but buying a radiance to keep being inside it in mid and late game too is a huge waste since they fall off badly late game. The magic immunity from them is nice, especially against heavy magic damage lineups, but Lifestealer already has rage, so just learn to use that skill instead or even buy a bkb or refresher late game if you need more than 6s magic immunity.
i did it, usually use radiance ancient built if enemy have a lot of stunner (or squishy support and no rightclick hero)
u need a decent teamates who stack to u, like alch gamming. rad + ancient will useful to open the map or prevent dag flee/set at gank. http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1881291919
When it works, it is really devastating.....but it does not work all times.....conclusion? It is situational just like almost everything else in dota.
Yeh I played it, won, but radiance had little to no contribution to the win.
I'd say it situational tho I don't know which situation it is for.
Conclusion: This build sucks.
Just played an unranked game against a radiance lifestealer, they would've won if he went with something sensible that could manfight (like sny ac abyssal), because they'd be able to lock us down and kill us lategame. But guess what, he went with the stupid radiance build and lost the fucking game. He did get SnY and AC much later, but still couldn't manfight anybody because he had no lockdown and we had many ways to burst him.
Its pretty good against a heavy magic damage team. The moment lifestealer gets 6 his team goes mid and uses lifestealer in an ancient creep to siege the tower. With a few heals and maybe a mek on lifestealers team they can easily get that tower and keep going.
Of course this only works if the enemy team has nobody who can kill an ancient at level 6. If they do its a terrible build. If they don't then they really cant stop that thing.
Yeah if you go radiance + aghs + pudge it works pretty well. Did it with my friend a couple times.

Well, ancient ls by itself is actually excellent for deathballs, you just get your drums and phase boots, you can get your phase boots drums and get somebody to get vlads/mek and just go push, works especially well if the rest of the draft is deathbally.
