... okay I just answered my own question, egos are an increasingly important aspect of the dota community.
Socram, people buy accounts so they can actaully tell others that they are good when they actually suck.

i was 5k and earned like 200€ a month as a hobby from boosting, this guy is really cheap if hes legit
