Im not sure u understand the diffrence between u and the 8k mmr, u dont need only work to get 8k, u need talent/reaction time, im not even talkin about game knowledge coz lets take it for the arguments sake that u can learn it.
I would say theres less than 1% chance for u to achieve that before u give up on the way, but still thats better than nothing.

Aite if you are truly 5k you should be shitting on kids 100% winrate in 1k no matter what. I can solo win 1v5 at that trash level because nobody knows what they are doing and you get guaranteed 3x as much farm as anyone else.

Just create a new account, play good till 50 lvl trophy, on calibration spam zeus/spectre/necro/invoker or any insane damage dealers heroes. bam ez 4.350-4.650 mmr
I know right but i think i can do it.... been playing a long time... guys like me stuck on 1k can rekt 4-5k players anyday anytime... SEA compared to EU and Aus servers are twice the size of dota players... Sea is the biggest Eu may be large but not as large as SEA... play in Sea and u'll get rekt easy and get a lot of swearing coming from both sides u and ur team... Now im pinoy... u guys ever wondered why they held the tourney here in manila? Even EG is afraid of Sea players and declibed their trip here! So before u guys say 1k mmr? Lol try playing against 1k mmr players in sea servers. U'll see 12 yr old kids wrecking u with meepo invoker from a crappy internet cafe. Dude i bought literally 3 rapires with sny desolator as SF in 1.5k and I didn't get rekt.
I am quite positivly sure he will rape them, because he's 4.7k mmr player.
It's not boring, trust me. After playing 5 games in a row in 1.5k MMR i got bored. They are bad and boring, but not bad enough to keep me motivated crushing their egos.
Playing 1k mmr is the best u get unfair matchmakings in ranked games plus figuring out how to carry and teach newbies how the game is played... and once ur good enough like me u can start making 7-8 smurf accounts calibrated at 4.5k... but wheres the fun in that? I played against 5k mmr and above players and seriously they suck at solo mmr! I dont know how they got on top for sucky gameplays. But party mmr now thats a different story for a different time
