Drow with Skadi SeemsGood. You are tanky, it's a nice overall stats item and you have slow no matter what. Also it's a throwback to the good ol' days when we were playing Drow + Bloodseeker, since Bloodrage used to silence and she couldn't use her arrows.
Spectre is still the highest pub win rate safe laner and probably will be for a long time, doesn't take many items for her to be effective. Medusa same thing, games always go late.
My favorites right now though are strength carries, dk, sven, wk. More fights breaking out mid game lets these guys shine.
Sven's actually pretty good if you go mobility and damage burst build, I love playing the guy, can flashfarm very early, and can turn the game around with some farm. You just have to make sure you're not gonna get kited in prolonged fights and you really have to play by the cooldowns.
Go dk. The hero is so tanky.
Best build the drum blink build rather than shadow blade
Again there's AM, spectre, juggy, and also arc. Dont underestimate arc. He's so op lvl1 skill2 100%evasion 55sec cd midas + necrobook + every item and skill + safest divine carrier. Ezpz
