why dont you just play him in offlane where you can get free exp from pulling the hard camp with hooks
Because I never play offlane, I'm a carry/mid player.
The only hero I actually play offlane sometimes is Magnus.
My impression so far is that pudge got a lot better. But he still is in a weird spot and not broken.
Might actually give the hero a whim now, though my hooks are so fucking bad I'm like an average white trash hip hop "artist" or some crap.
Kitrak, Pudge was always playable only a certain people were actually skillfull enough to play it in higher mmr rankings.
Pudge's best lane is mid where he gets his fast levels (can kill enemy mid before level ~7) and can even gank other lanes when getting a good rune.
I speak from experience, I know what I'm saying when I say that Pudge should go mid.
pudge was not bad ever....honestly his buffs are competitive wise tbh....in low-mid-high level pubs pudge is now severely broken....pudge needed no help becoming a big killer before now with these buffs its' going to be easier than ever
at lower levels its basically a free win guaranteed

it doesnt work that well against better opponents. there is a reason why in 5.5k+ average matches pudge plays pos 3-4 and not 2.

Although, I myself have destroyed 6k+ players mid with Pudge.

Hanter, perhaps you are an exception, but from my expieriance whenever i verse a pudge mid its a free lane for me, and generally a pretty easy win.
i played with better pudges personally.
this hero is just too popular to expect no one to be better than you with him at this point.

SF and TA are paper if caught, TA has no refraction against pudge, SF is just squsihy as fuck. Ta will always be pudge food if caught, sf can become tanky as fuck tho, but if he depends on his BKB to stay alive (or TA does), they can still be disabled for several seconds and really fucked up. A pudge with a blink basically has a bkb piercing disable which is still very relevant lategame.
i watched ur last game as pudge where you went offlane and fed first blood against a solo slark then did not hit a single hook until 8 minute where it was pretty much point blank and then you died to him a second time what the fuck
^^ YE L0L I went full retard that game, after he got level 2 he went w-e and had boots aswell while I didn't have anything so at that point lane is lost but you legitly can't win a slark vs a pudge match up just level your passive on slark and you already won the lane and everytime I tried to go for a kill I missed every hook, shit happends but I still came back 16-5-23.
Lifestealer with his rage and lifesteal.
juggernaut with his q when you hook him in he insta q's and your dismember wont do anything.
slark, his passive and leap will get you killed.
In early game yes even in late but we're comparing a pudge to carries so it's obvious they would win.

Try to pick him for mid, if people don't let you mid or go like 2-3 mid just play him offlane, they buffed him very hard especially now how you lifesteal when you're ultying someone without having an aghs sceptre.
Although you still kinda rely on your team, if you have 4 donkeys then you'll probably lose.
