i think people are underrating ld. The change included basically making synergy a part of the hero, not a skill, since his skills scale with what synergy offered. What it means is that by level 7 your bear will be just as strong as always, but now you have the option of skilling rabid, ult or the new roar ability for the other 3 skill points. The change might require you to skill the abilities to have the full effects of the old synergy, but if you ignore the new ability you can have maxed bear and rabid by level 9 with a point in ult as well. Previously you would have just a maxed bear with either 1 in rabid or ult
Chen seems to be winning it so far by biggest jump. Riki on the other hand got destroyed, but it's understandable he, void and dp dropped so much when they got big reworks instead of simple buff/nerfs.

SF got nerfed because of the stacks but his laning phase is better than ever with Faerie Fire. With 50 initial damage there's no more lvl1 struggle.
Not to mention his Aghs complements perfectly the Mek build. With Mek/Aghs/BKB you're a nightmare for teams with no way to hold pushes.

Invoker. If you dont understand why, you dont deserve to play him.
Yeah I agree on invoker, the level 1 invoke is really huge as on lvl 3 you win most matchups with alacity hit bonus
The thing is, Invoker got buffed several patches in a row, he can be both op spellcaster and strong rightclicker atm.
