    http://www.dotabuff.com/players/83347409 4105 ranked matches 65% winrate

    Metallicize

      he calibrated at -15k mmr

      Pilot

He plays a lot of party, maybe he gets a lot of +5/+15 games

        Dire Wolf

if you are 6k don't you often get matched with a bunch of 4500+ players cus it can't find people your level and then when you win you get no or very little mmr and when you lose you lose a lot more?

          -XoD^

^^^Jokes on you, if he only played solo games, even if he calib'd -15k, he'd be 15k mmr. (Calculating his winrate and games gives 30k mmr gain)

At OP, he probably played mostly party que with a very highish mmr stack (Probably his teammates). Getting him +5/-45 (or similar) most of his games, since there wouldnt be another stack as highly ranked.

            Edit: Im slow af.

most likely he just abuses Close match history

                Reese

it doesnt make any sense.. +5/-25 games are when matchmaking cant find anyone with your average mmr, you can't get them on purpose
                  he can't have 2000 games with +5
there is people with higher party mmr than him

^have u ever tried 5 man stacking in 5.5+? 95% of matches you get there are +5.

                    Relentless

He is at 2050 wins 943 losses in Very High ranked games. That's a minimum of 554 games above 3.7k for solo ranked.

If party and solo were split evenly at 7k each MMR the average game would need to be a gain of 5.95 MMR. Winrate if 68.8% for Very High ranked so his games would tend to be close to +21.5 MMR for a win and -28.5 MMR for a loss... assuming this account is near 7k MMR.

IF it were near 6k MMR... then the result changes to an average gain of 4.15 MMR per game resulting in a typical game being...
+20 MMR for a win and -30 MMR for a loss.

his party mmr is only 5732, there are people with 6k+ party and this guy has 4k ranked games
probably he is stacking with people with very high party mmr all the time so he gets +5

                        Relentless

If he only gained +5 for a typical win he would actually lose so much MMR on his 943 loses he would not be in Very High. I know there are games like that. I've been in them. But that's not a typical game.

                            wtf 4 0 0 0 ranked matches....

                            Chadzpyre

I've very rarely seen people with more than 6.5k party mmr, i dont think ive ever seen someone with 7k or above. In US East once you have average party MMR over about 4500 in a group of 3 or 5 the games will consistently be +<15 and ->35. If you pair with other people above 5k party i would guess +5 is the norm. I wouldn't know though because i play shitty 4k party matches.

exactly.... que for 20 min find +5 or minus 50 game = reality for 5.5k party que.
