sorta, all DC cannot be blamed on Volvo, but in my case 90% of the DC are caused by volo, it never causes me to abandon tho, only around 10 sec DC
I wonder why so many ppl take 3 hours to load a game or disconnect that often.
While I understand my PC is better than average, you should lower your graphic to allow a smoother game experience.
As for the internet connection, when it happens, it really doesnt take much to reconnect MOST of the times.
Slow connection is not because of a bad PC, it's simply because there are way 2 many idiots who accept a game, minimize on desktop to find music or something and then don't make it in time back to the game.
As for DC ingame, it's usually because the connection to a server. Why do you think do i play so much on russia? The connection between the swedish servers and my danish connection are usually more stable than the other EU servers where i do drop out sometimes, despite having a stable and good internet connection.

Um, it's not, I had it much better in S1. Something got screwed over in transition to S2, and some problems have already been fixed, some still linger. Also, how is this an EXCUSE? You can only find excuses for things that are your fault. Most of the time, a shitty connection won't be your fault, and finding an "excuse" for it would be utmost retarded, like your post.

Well, good for you, sometimes reconnecting bugs really bad, and DotA 2 Coordinator eats a lot of shit, so you can't reconnect into the game or the game just keeps loading forever for some reason, until you restart steam and then it works well for some reason. Happened a bit during s1 but was not a major pain in the ass.
I find it funny that you don't realize that like 95% of the server architecture has been changed and is therefore still in beta version where they (try) to fix a ton of bugs.
the only problem i got in Source 2 is the 1-3 sec freeze where i can exactly do anything EXCEPt moving my hero.
This year I got an ASUS gaming PC with an Intel Core I-7 processor, 16GB RAM, a seperate 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 for graphics.
It's blazing fast. I also got a new router and switched from comcast to frontier DSL.
On souce 1 I never had lag spikes or delay, never had frame loss. I did this because my previous setup which was on an old PC from 2004 could barely run dota 2 anymore. It was getting 3 to 6 frames per second, and sometimes worse. The ram was 80% of the minimum required and kept switching to virtual memory. Anyway the old PC was killing me and I dropped from Very High games to a solo rank of 2350 MMR.
Since I got the new PC I am back up to 3560 MMR for solo ranked... BUT when they switched to reborn I suddenly cannot play on EUwest anymore. I have over 250 games on EUwest over the past 3 years and it was always playable even though I am in the US. But not in reborn - every single game my delay is terrible, about 2 seconds. It is not my computer or my internet. It is valves server.
Besides this I notice incidentally far more people disconnecting since we switched to reborn. It even forced me to disc so much it gave me four abandons. I have never abandoned a game by choice.
