Its pretty good for us with bad internet connection and get sent to the low prio pool which i belive is the majority of players in the low prio..i would not mind playing in low prio with single draft i actually am now looking forward for it in the future.. :)
I think this is good. I mean, if I get placed in LPQ, and get IO, only to reroll Meepo, I will just instantly abandon and get 2 more games. This gives you at least some choice if you actually want to win. I'm tired of people treating prisoners like they are lower forms of life. It's the same thing with players in LPQ. They are already punished because the game is unbalanced (fuck your MMR, you can have 3 VHS players vs a team of 250 MMR scrubs, and you NEED to win), because they can't pick the hero they want to play, and because they're generally mostly with shit players on both teams.
You get one LPQ game initially, if you're excessively reported/abandon that one, you get two more. And then two more if you fuck up again, etc.
i think it would be quite psychologically effective if you could see your "suspended sentence" i.e. if you abandon this next game, you won't get the standard 1 LPQ game - you will get 3 LPG games etc.

This actually makes it easier if you are putting effort to win and harder if you abandon all the time like a moron, grief, feed, do not communicate with the team, etc, basically you are punished in relation to how shitty you are, and I do not mean gameplay skills, but more like griefing, flaming, not communicating with the team, feeding intentionally, abandoning LPQ games, etc. All of this is now more punished, and all the opposite things are actually rewarded, so it's kind of good.

why? abandoning a normal game now is basically nothing...not only do you just need to play a single game in lp but it is also single draft now instead of all random
people will be abandoning left right and centre now....why the sudden leniency out of nowhere?
even the have to win to make it count is really not that big a deal....as i said it's just one game
