i have a problem im in VHS bracket but when i was eligible to calibrate i started a 3.4mmr and high skill bracket only whats going on here? do you have any suggestion guys/
Many people don't believe it, but getting good is actually the safer way of gaining mmr. If you cheat the system and get overrated due to the lack of improvement, you'll regress to your old mmr anyway (in the long run, not "lol i still gained mmr in my next 3 games xDDD").
you're not "smurfing" your way to 5k if you have a 47% win rate 130 games in.
just get better because you're not even close if your top played characters are a 40% win rate riki and bloodseeker
i've seen a dude actually go 40 0, 50 0 , 36 0 in all his calibration games and he got about 4936
why are you expecting to get 5k, if you can barely maintain yourself at 3k? What kind of optimistic enthusiast you are, dude? No matter what you do now, you wont get this mmr after calibration, because you just play too bad. Not even close.
Hey man, you're about 1.9K MMR or something, you're not even close to 3K, and you were even lucky to calibrate to 3.4K on that other smurf of yours. I know everyone says that, but you're horrible, and NOWHERE as good as you think man, especially if you spam BloodSeeker and Riki in unranked, that's just, that's just, cancer, it really is. Now I know there's 1K MMR players who think they belong in 5K, damn, I thought there was only 2Kers who think they belong in 4K, but this is just crazy, really eye opening. why do u expect 5k then? 4k would be a gift. if you pkay poorly, you might get mmr lower than on ur main, too, and it will take time to adjust it.
no matter what u spam, you wont get 5k. its about how decent you are as a player, not just the numerical criterias of your games. and the gap between a skill of 3.8k player and 5.0k player is huuuuuuuge.
I don't know, I don't believe you even have a 3850 main account, i'm looking at this account RIGHT HERE (the Banana one) and it's stat are horrible, and your win rates are garbage with the two most noob friendly heroes in the game.
The stats are that bad, and usually smurfs have good stats, and good win rates cause the first 100 games of unranked they're usually just stopping kids to unlock rank, but alright, i'll assume you're telling the truth, it's not like I know you well or anything.

dont misunderstand me, i dont say u r bad and im good, or anything like that; i dont think this way, too.
just the objective difference between N and N+1000 mmr is very huge, and you cant compensate it by playing only ur best heroes on a smurf account. the mmr you achieve this way might be a bit higher, but not 1150 pts higher, definetely.
i havent played a single game in 6.85b, so I dunno how strong she is now. In 6.85 she was rather strong and picked often, too, although the presense of WRs and Dooms in 95% of games hurt her.
No triple ..... u kno the guy named something divine ella calibrated at 4.5k .......he was 3.3k at his main .......1k difference can be covered then ......yeah ?
And another thing ..... my frnd having 4k on hs main ......created new account .....his first tbd was in 5.2 k ...... and even after winning 9 games he calibrated at 4590mmr ......

the first calibration game is played exactly on your hidden mmr level, and for decent players it is hidher than calibration cap, but in second one you get to play in mid 4ks anyways.
F.e. DD, who's 6k point smthng on his main, played his first calibration game on a smurf at 5.6k, but still went to some 4k trash in further games.
Sometimes I think some people on here are better off not skipping school than wasting their time on here trying to boost their hopes and ego with forum posts trying to show how good of a player they are - or at least how they perceive themselves to be. Sure, I'm a normal skill bracket scrub, but I made sure I've had my life-basics down before my basic game mechanics knowledge.
Im 4k and ive played quite a bit vs 5-6ks 7/10 times i got dumpstered and that 3 times i played sf.
My point is that you will not get 5k, even on smurf
As far as i know, they made the cap on 4999 since full reborn release. Before that you could calibrate higher.
However, it's easier to play an account to 5k than to calibrate an account to 5k, since they stepped up the requirements a lot.
when they introduced ranked matchmaking on december 2013 my friends calibrated at 5.2k, 5.3k etc. i was calibrated at 4.5k, i was so ashamed..
i never understood why player like myself at 3.8k woud wanna recalibrate or buy accounts to play at 5k. why woud you go get outplayed by every single player every single match until you fall back to where you belong?
