all i wish for is that i could lose an overthrow game.
Some teams come with strategy already. I've seen they protecting checkpoints with March of the Machines, Acid Spray and Tombstone. And what you gonna do about it? My answer is - Venomancer. I think it's best hero. =)
Yeah, this is just a custom game, no giveaways? No incentive to play. I will give them one thing, I do like the green tab, and graveyard back ground on reborn, too bad that's the only thing fun about this "event."
IDK, why they removed Timbersaw from this custom game. There are NO TREES! Little guy may fix his mental issues at last. But no... It's not gonna happen.
This game is too easy. Necrophos is pretty OP because he keeps his aura on the enemy team constantly during those Mexican standoffs at the mid capture point.
If the enemy picks Necro you can go AA.
Still... I think Venomancer is most OP. Undying is second.

If you seriously don't want to play a custom game beacause there's no free shit you should ask yourself what do you want from dota 2. Do you want to have fun with the game or what? This custom mode is fun, like other custom modes. Not playing it because you don't like it is ok, not playing it because you don't like custom games in general is ok too, but not playing it because of no gift is just dumb however you look at it.
The game is stupid. All you need to is protect the 3rd checkpoint. You just spam the pendulum and you will win in half an hour. So fun. Also the behemots are fucking broken in early game so whoever is actually winning early will lose just because they can't deal with behemoths.
@erk i have fun playing both dota and playing custom games. i think i spammed like 30 games of overthrow when it first came out?
the difference is if i rank up the account im playing i can actually sell it or just leave it sitting as my "new main" while playing custom games i just derive fun from it.
so obviously i would rather play normal dota than custom games, if there isnt any other incentive...

Pendulum does not protect 3rd checkpoint. You can stand on the edge of the ring and take it no matter what.
Some heroes deal extremely well with behemots (e.g. Ursa). Also UD and Weaver can distract behemots with their zombies/bugs to get enough time to destroy them. If nothing else helps, you can lure behemots into your fountain, magic machinegun kills them fast.
pick silencer, easy win, you'll always end up with 150+ intel. Up to 200+ in very closed game.
At some point you'll snowball out of control even if you feed like no tommorow.
Oh and sam, if you hate winning early, take naix, either your don't win early (yey !!!)
and if you, you just ult the golem :p

fucking won all three. Gonna go Undying and WD next
