your ranked is your unranked +-1000 after calibration (capped at 4600-4800)
the reason there are calibrations is because otherwise the mmr would not be accurate. Like if you get 4k matches and you feed you will calibrate 3k.
this is also the reason why complaning about "smurfs ruining games" in 4k bracket is totally retarded because the guy calibrated that mmr means he did good in calibrations

Valve has a anti smurf system in place to remove smurf accounts from lower MMR games because of this when you make a new account you will most likely calibrate higher than your main account (until you reach the calibration cap). I am not flaming for no reason you made a comment about a topic that you dont understand how it works then when I call you out on it you run to ad hominem. Dude, antismurf works for the first games, ex you play one game in normal skill, stomp, next game is very high. If your bracket is too high you will feed and you rating will be lowered. You need 150 games before ranked in which your mmr is adjusted to your skill.
There is no abuse like spamming zeus anymore.
So there is no way a 3k player can calibrate 4.5k because every calibration he loses like 100-200 points. If you have 50% winrate on the account in 4k bracket it doesn't magically drop to 0% when you finish calibrations
If you see a smurf ruining your game it's an account buyer 80% of the time.
Guys I had 2.9k mmr on my first 2 calibration matches ....... I want above 3 k ...... if theres any suggestion ? Its ok if not .... I will learn some more heroes too ...yet my knowledge abt dota is not good...thas why I keep asking .... but 3k will be nice ...so can u guys tell me.....

Why valve kept 10 calibraton matches ? Why mmr doesnt come directly after completing a certain level ? 1) Does it mean ur unranked mmr is processed in these calibrating matches ? How this is done though ? What are affecting factors ?
2) is mmr dependent on only calibrating matches or how u play them only ?
3)can skill level of a player (showing on dotabuff) have possibilities to get up or down in these matches ?
