You never remember the games that go well, always the games that go absurdly one way (or the other.) People don't remember mundane things, mostly just unique circumstances. I guarantee that all 4k MMR players are not what you saw; they were outliers, that were probably boosted to that MMR bracket through various reasons (or they are just drugs/fatigued at the moment.)
