no flash farm so it takes a while before you actually get some items
and when you get some items so your bear is actually relevant, a lot of heroes can get rid of him easily anyway

i once chased from my t1 to their fuckin t3 without rooting once. it was like 28hits
and meanwhile sb 17% is bashing every 2hits
Farming creeps has been nerfed and Lone Druid's bear bounty is worth 2 heros.

Idk whenever I fight a LD which isn't often, it's non stop roots. He still demolishes towers but he was never popular in the 3ks cus of the micro and he loses a lot cus of the micro, just like morph, chen and meepo do. All those heroes can be good but no one is good with them.
you know when you facing LD it is non stop roots and when you play it, it's no root at all FUCK
it's like medusa in this meta. and it's weaker. he have no farm abilities to fill 12 slots
You asked how to find old threads just to necro this? Anyway, he is just a weird hero. He simply doesn't have enough damage to be a proper carry.
Idk by the time bear gets fat, jusr as Arin said, late game he gets easily focused and dies in seconds.
So the 12 slots strat isnt viable anyway even if you reach it.
Imo best way to play, esp here in 3k, its full rat mode with aghs, maybe refresher
I dont know but I actually do pick him situationally against the likes of Bloodseeker and Anti-mage.
Struggled at first but eventually was on track winning some games.
I think Lycan suits this question more.

What happened to this hero?
Tough pick in the meta. Trash in pubs, worse in pro. Last in meta in 2012.
Poor in its roles. Agh's is worthless vs any reasonable anti rat build. Hero is counter-able and doesn't get online fast.
Even the Admirable can't make him viable.
Worst part is that it's all silence. I search up on Google for "lone druid" within the past 24 hours or a week and I find nothing.
Nobody plays this hero and if they do its probably cause they random'd it on the second roll.
Sometimes I type the filter "lone druid" through the live games to see the highest mmr around 4k and the lone druid on the short lane, exp deprived hugging the tower to only get bulldozed by a bounty or spirit breaker. from there he aimlessly walks around for a few minutes.
Icefrog plz giff a jungling buff or an additional point in amour yep yep.
pls if any actual high tier lds pls show game where game wasn't won by teammates.
