Meh, never tried it in my 3.8k bracket before. I dont know about you guys, just try it. I havent been able to solo ranked queue at all since my friends always want me in their 5 stack
Those elitistist circle jerkers spamming normal skill are just jealous of your achievement; dont give up
appaK
I am 3,8k mmr and even when i stack with low mmr friends (below 3k), i end up playing in the high skill bracket. Not sure how you manage to get in the normal skill bracket..
my friends are all 2k below T_T
why radiance? Radiance has more impact than bf IMO
evasion plus burn and right click damage? It's like a battlefury thats always on
alche is one of the very rare heroes that farm faster with radiance than bf (not to mention the sweet 20% miss that increase greatly your ehp)
radiance aoe burn damage does not scale unlike cleave damage, so for pure farming speed imo it's not quicker than battle fury. build up is much worse too. 3800g in one go, although if alch is probably the easiest hero to get that.
imo its only really good on naga and spec. other heroes are much more situationa, but i could be wrong
Like I said in my post, battlefury doesnt contribute anything at 15 min mark but farm. Radiance on the other hand, has burn and can contribute to fights, and since you can get it super early, it burns heroes really easily in the early game.
No matter your build or win streak your teammates most likely will still cringe when you pick alch.
1. Stacks
2. Stacks with players ~2k lower
3. Normal skill
4. Normal matches (not ranked)
Pretty sure you could play anything mid and go undefeated.
Nice one man, I only play alche when my friends or myself random it and they swap or whatever and we always lose because we lose the early too hard, next time i get it random I will try the radiance build even if its just for fun.
And fuck all of those who wont even read your comment because of that normal skill, stupid elitist dota players.
I have 3,9k solo ranked but I always party with my friends aswell and thats why most of my games are on normal skill and I can assure you its much easier to win ranked solos at very high skill than those normal skill party where people are pure tryhards.

gg I didnt know if normal ppl tryhards it actualy makes an impact/difference. lol.
Damn yea man, if you are playing party all pick nobody ever picks untill they see what you pick in order to counter, I dont give a *** about counters, i will still pick before the timer gets to 0.. But then the game starts and you have 3 counters and they try as hard as posible, while we are testing shits or whatever we see an undying + counters five manning 10 minutes into the game. Then there are also rapes when they are not that tryhard.
In the other hand, I reached VHS in solo mmr 1 week ago and I have played 15 games (mostly as suport or mid) and I won 11 of them.
my alchemist build is more flawless, it provides armor, damage, move speed, attack speed, intelligence, agility, strength, mana+heal.

Maybe this site need 3 thread groups. One for normal one for high + one for v high. The 'normal skill' responders might not like that due to the joy of smugness that comes with posting it but hey
The point isn't to disparage normal skill players, he is literally smurfing by grouping down into normal bracket. Thus results are not typical.
@ andro Radiance is faster, and you scale it by getting manta style and farming with the illusions
Radiance farming is not faster than bfury farming ._.
anyway bfury also allows alch to take ancient stacks using acid

Hey guys, first thread right here so go easy on me lmao. Im at 3860 mmr, but you'll see most of my matches are pubs and at normal skill bracket because I stack a lot with my friends, so I get moved into a lower bracket.
So yeah, I just realized that my alch has been on a 13-0 winstreak by following a build that I saw arteezy do.
( here's my alch matches history: http://www.dotabuff.com/players/211068665/matches?date=&hero=alchemist&skill_bracket=&lobby_type=&game_mode=®ion=&faction=&duration=&enjoyment=any&timezone=Pacific%2FPago_Pago)
The 13 most recent games are the arteezy builds.
Now to get down to business. I've seen alch players going the good old midas alch, which is not that bad but it's not that helpful.
The build that I saw arteezy do was to rush a radiance. Typically, you go mid, but safelane works as well. Getting the 0:00 rune is extremely helpful, since the bonus 400 gold will get you a bottle almost instantly. Bottle is optional, but I prefer getting bottle since I crow a lot.
Anyways, the skill build is max acid and greevils first. Yes, this is extremely greedy, but i suggest holding on to one point for a level to stun just in case, but usually you wont need the stun. I start with stout, quelling blade, but if you want it to be a little more defensive, then replace the quelling blade with a salve and a few branches.
Get phaseboots then a relic. Arteezy's timing on his radiance with phase boots, quelling blade, and bottle was 10:00 mins. My personal best was at around 11 mins but thats because my 5 man party was just giving so much space to farm. But the usual timing on the radiance is 15 mins provided that you farmed efficiently.
Use your acid spray to passively harass your opponent, and make sure you put it in a strategic place. Like pulling the creep aggro to uphill so that he wont be able to deny his creeps without damaging himself. And if youre up against a melee mid lane, everytime he tries for a last hit, just wack him in the face, the minus armor will scare him away.
Make sure you push the lane with acid spray and auto attack the creeps at around the :40 second mark that way you can get the rune then push the lane once more then move to the small camp or medium camp and farm. Even the smallest creep will give you tons of gold because of your greevils. And if you can, stack the hard camp, by level 6 you can farm it with acid spray and chemical rage.
This style of play is greedy, I know, but in almost all of my games with this build, we were losing the early game, but once I got my radiance, shit turned around.
After getting your radiance, just build whatever you need. You need to tank? Get a heart. With the radiance, you can literally just clear the jungle and lane 2 times and you'll have a reaver. If you dont get bothered at all, you can get it in around 8 mins.
I guess thats it, I didnt say anything that this build is broken or will help you raise mmr, but I went 13-0 with this so I guess you might give it a try. Credits to arteezy for doing this build. (not saying he made this build, but I saw him using this build so yeah you get my point haha)
If you want to party with me, just add me :D
