I have a 40 inch tv beside my desktop but I don't keep it connected with the hdmi unless I want to watch anime and movies on the bed.

Just realised how boring my desktop is :(

People still use screensavers? I stopped using one like 10 years ago, when I really got a decent monitor. I just have my display set to turn off after 60 minutes of inactivity. I use my computer as a HTPC anyhow; so it's always on.

That's not my actual desktop but mine has the default windows logo background on win7. Idk why I just like the blue background and have never wanted to change it. My wife sabotaged my pc once and changed it to a pic of her and my daughter but it was too distracting. Dota2 pics are too flashy.

I don't get your point. I just don't like seeing their faces every time I minimize an app. I don't really want to see much of anything hence the default desktop.

No, why would we run VMs on our personal pcs? I run a few VMs at work because of different enviornments .
