With the new computer, I was checking beforehand if i can connect the monitor with 1050Ti. I could, so I went for it.
Here comes the fun part. When switching the computers, i noticed one thing. The DVI output from the GPU was a different kind than the DVI reduction that was on the reduction. Luckily there was a VGA port so I just removed a reduction and went with it.
Today I've installed DMC4SE on our home computer, put all on max, try to run a performance test. Got 14 fps at best, i was like what the hells going on. Apparently, there's intel HD gpu (probably goes with cpu? idk but i dont think i have it on my own computer despite having intel i5) in our computer and the monitor is actually connected to the integrated GPU instead of the 1050ti.
When I was connecting the new computer with our monitor, I COMPLETELY IGNORED THE FACT THAT THE 1050Ti GPU OUTPUTS ARE STICKING OUT ON ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SPOT THAN THE VGA OUTPUT. I ALSO DIDN'T REALISE THAT OUR MONITOR HAS ONE ANALOG (vga) AND ONE DIGITAL (dvi) INPUT.
so instead of getting a digital cable like any two digit iq person would, i was like "oh my dvi reduction doesnt fit but luckily there's a vga hole so i'll just put it in"
i even totally ignored the difference between analog and digital signal and wondered why does the DVI reduction from VGA not fit
