From what I remember Mushi was the best OD. Might have changed though, that's quite a long time ago. I remember I checked out Black^ and Arteezy's OD a while back and it was rather underwhelming. Illidan has a lot of games played with him recently, I'd also check him out.
6.84 had almost no OD games, but Mushi is the one who plays the hero the most and has decent success.
That winrate argument is just so old and bad, that's what people bring when they have no arguments or no logical understanding.
For some reason I'm expected to win 8k and 9k MMR matches with an underpowered hero that I'm just playing for fun. I know people who have 60+% winrate on the hero they spam and they have way lower ranking than me. Of course if I could play forever against 2k enemies my winrate would skyrocket as well.

Depends on what level he plays. If he has around 50% winrate on a hero which is weak and plays it at 5.5k mmr, thats not bad at all imho.
