I almost always go bloodstone first and then maybe orchid depending on lineup, bs first offers waay too much compared to orchid, you can zip much more liberally, can farm faster due to higher mana regen, you also have lot more survivability due to the hp by bloodstone, and if you're even near kills, you're gonna snowball hard off those bloodstone charges.
My build is bloodstone>orchid/linkens>hex>shivas/bkb>stuff
If you don't find openings to gank, you really don't have to. Just go in the enemy jung with a ward and farm their camps to create pressure on the map and easy opportunites to kill shit. Lategame, don't be the one who initates unless you have linkens bkb up, wait for either your teammates to jump or them to jump you, and zip past and kill the backlines, the most important part of lategame is conserving mana to zip out and zip back immediately in a fight. Only blow up all mana into a megazip if you know you can kill whatever you're chasing.
As for ganks, you pretty much have to abuse storms ability to dodge projectiles to secure kills and gtfo in the process. If they have shit like beastmaster or legion with blink, farm a camp till you see them on the map, then go for the kill

people knows him as best kunkka player (attacker) but hes spaming storm recently and hes really successful at 7k mmr I watched his storm games he really plays well
^Attacker is the most impressive pub Storm Spirit player. I got to one point when I struggled with Storm, but watching him took my Storm to another level.

To all PRO storm players... I've been spamming storm on rank and recently I've started to hit the wall and start to find weakness in my play. So here's some questions to you guys to help me on the climb. Thanks :)

1) What kind of item progression do you go with?
- I usually just stick with the usual treads into bloodstone/orchid (depending on lineup) follow up with either linkens/bkb/hex. I sometimes get a euls early first against a skywrath or earthspirit for an example. Also what kind of late game items is good for a storm?
2) Late game gameplay.
- I'm sorta okay in laning phase. What I find difficult sometimes is when I pick a storm, the other team has very disable orientated team with high burst damage. What kind of gamestyle would you recommend? I usually try to farm bloodstone and orchid asap. If I go orchid first, I'll try get ganks plus enemy jungle farm. What I find myself lacking is the aggression that pro storm players have. Im scared to gank when there are no aggressive wards and I dont want to trade 1:1 and in the end I lose my momentum/snowball potential from the lack of ganks.
