I'd argue that at the moment, unranked games are better than ranked ones both in terms of skillcap and atmosphere. I've been playing mostly unranked on my main account (this one) and ranked on my smurf and the difference is quite significant.
Unranked is the worst it's just stacks of people most time. At least ranked you might have try hards both teams.
