Will dotabuff cover most popular mods? in General Discussion

Are you planning on this or no?

Just a question, not a request.

Open to the idea if select mods become popular. It's too early to say for sure if we will cover any or not. If they are popular and we feel there is a demand we will cover select mods. There isn't a plan to cover every mod "just because."

LoD and Pm X20 are very popular.

Pm x20 is a great example of a mode that would be (in theory) very easy to support since it is so similar to dota. (assuming a slightly lazy solution where we don't maintain extra tooltips and other shortcuts)

Not sure how the data gathering is going to work yet for custom game modes. But for x20 it could just be a custom mode on dotabuff where the stats don't count towards your global winrate and you'll be able to filter some but not all of your stats by the game mode.

Custom games that require really specific new stat support, custom end of match web design, etc. would need to be pretty popular to justify the time vs other cool things we want to work on. Personally I'm excited to see where the custom stuff goes there are a lot of amazing games out there.

speaking of games that shouldn't count to winrate, can you also do that for All Random?

I'm sure most people have 95% of ALL Random games in low prio where they feed on purpose to get out faster. I think it would be very smart to remove every game in All Random from the winrate.

Bogi and Benao are the best examples of this, they are always in Low prio, hence All Random matches changed their global winrate to something that does not representing their true winrate.

                  EDIT:

We just released an updated hero and facet statistics page featuring more data and advanced filters. Oh, and it supports Turbo!
