Makes it easy sometimes to tell your against a party. Other then that doesn't really matter.
^^sometimes im playing in dual stacks, although not that often; and I remember getting to play with ppl from solo q and not being top mmr (neither my teammate was), just cz the spread of rankings was very high. so once i was stacking with 5k being 5.4 at that moment, our teammates were 5.5, 4.9 and 4.7, and enemies were something like 5, 5, 5, 5, and all of a sudden 6.2. the 6.2k guy was solo btw.
^i dunno, but i didnt like getting rekt by ppl just 0.5k above me, lmao. and it didnt seem any of these guys (except singsing) were doing shit tbh.
The way i see it: Down here in the trench everyone is crap. So I don't give a hoot about who has the highest mmr and what it is.
Go bring your 4,8k friend, still doesn't matter unless you're a 5,5k+ player sitting on a 3k smurf.
Seriously though, everything from 3k - ~4,8k is just the same bad. As far as I can tell. Not that I've ever been up there myself.
I dont care if i'm highest or lowest mmr on the team, i go play my usuall role which is offlane or carry, cause i just suck on other ones. Why should lowest mmr guy be supporting if he doesnt have a clue about supporting? Ok, i get it if the mmr difference is like 2k, but usually thats not the case. Just go play what you play best.

Im playing party ranked only (5.3 atm) and I hate getting matched against 5.8k+. The problem here is that it can be anyone of 5.8k and ABOVE. Lots of people from 6-7kk bracket have delayed party mmr due to inactivity, and its really hard to win against people who are objectively better than me (i see kind of a huge gap between low 5ks and low 6ks tbh), unless you got some players of this kind on your side. For example, both Miracle- and SlashStrike had party lower than 5.9k when I got matched against them, singsing got 5k, ar1se had 5.5k, etc.
