he lost a normal game with furion xDDDDDDDDDDDD
he prob even thinks he played well ahahhahah
Things are very simple.I have my old account for selling[not real money] Just dota items. This account has solo mmr 4114 and team mmr 3995 if u intrested aDD me to talk.
Really, starting another account to ''get a better mmr'' is ridiculous, if you are bad, you drop to a bad tier, don't matter how many times you smurf, creat accounts, ask for a friend play the calibrating matches, YOU WILL DROP..
1. Read
2. Watch
3. Learn
4. Try
5. Fail
6. Repeat
7. ???
8. Get better and repeat
?
h4nn1 calibrated a smurf at 4.6 recently
if that was his only account, no way he would want to grind 100+ meaningless stomp games to get to his real mmr.
plenty of people are able to do well on their new accounts.
i sold an account to a 2k, now hes improved and after a couple of cycles of account buying/coaching hes 5k
2k to 5k in 3 months. do you think that could have been achieved through pure +25s? lol.
i boosted another guy from 3.9 to 4.5, hes now doing fine at 4.7
its not a ridiculous idea when it has worked for some people.
Of course the same could be achieved on any main account. It might just take a little more time.
The thing is: For every single case of your "shortcut mmr boosting while being coached to reliably play at a higher level" there are a lot of "I intentionally lose all calibrating matches to play as many meaningless stomp games as possible to feel badass" cases and an uncountable number of "I'm stuck in the trench tier because only my teammates are shit and I deserve to be higher" cases.
And especially those other vicious or delusional cases are the main inaccuracy factor of the current matchmaking, not the system itself.
an idea is not ridiculous when it works for some people
is that hard to understand.
thats all im arguing about.
Of course it works for certain people.
Some people simply don't have the patience and focus to grind mmr with 51-60% winrate.
It's pretty tedious when you have to face idiots from time to time in different stages of hell mmr brackets.
I play in 3K range.
i wanna go high soo bad.But i don't smurf. Because i know that i suck even though i calibrated at level 13. Don't smurf. It does not represent your true skill if you are spamming Zeus and getting 4K. Not worth.Better to grind yo ass up.
@娜迦海妖:
Ridiculous does in this context not mean that a player cannot "do well" on a new account - I have no idea where you got that from.
The examples you mentioned are linked to a player that either has unintentionally calibrated lower than on his main account or is being coached at the same time, which is both not comparable to what the OP is trying to do here.
I already listed the two mayor motivations for smurfing, and I'm still saying that these are ridiculous.
That's all I'm arguing about.
@娜迦海妖 those friends of yours are the trash that are "supposedly 5k" are the ones i can single out every fucking time and ruin games! Anyone can win getting carried. If you rly think i'm wrong link your friends (4->5k from 2) accounts and let us see if they rly are playing at that level (judging my matches and stats) or just getting carried around for the ride.
