-never pick hard carries
-never blame team for mistakes/loss
-pick what your team needs, not what you want to play
-communicate
Learn and play Terrorblade before he gets nerfed. [If you don't like this method, then just listen to 'wave']
unless u r really so pro that u can play well all heroes all positions, u should master a few heroes that u think u can do well. Jack of all trades = master of none
I was 3.5k in july, I last pick heroes to fit the team.
It's really hard to play what you want at that bracket, if you pick mid, someone might pick mid, too.
And if you are good, you should gain mmr very fast.

that's a very bad advice. To make your mmr higher pick and learn heroes that has big impact on the late game, because player till 5k mmr farm badly and plays with carries bad. Also till 5k mmr all playing on supports badly and you will win for sure if you farm good.
But you need to learn how to farm effectively and understand what equip to buy in what situations.
Never blame, it's true, play like you are alone in this game. Do not communicate with teammates if they are morons and whine and trash talk. If they want mid - go to other lane, do not chat with them, especially with russians.
you need to pick heroes that fit in your lineup
it can be sad when you don't get to play the hero you'd prefer because of that but it works
Mute people as soon as they say anything negative about anyone in the team warrented or unwarrented.
3.4 to 3.7 is like 0.0000000001% difference.
play anything, build anything and just with right decisions you will go up in no time.
^i am talking from my own experience cuz people are really limited in builds, decisions etc etc.
no big difference between 3.4 and 3.7.

Any hints on how to improve gameplay around this bracket, any strats etc?
