from my experience with cs in general its kinda like dota. Well you can have more fun playing normally and not tryharding, but tryharding is actually the same as in dota: lots of time/hours played, rage sometimes. If you're not sure try to buy it when its in sale.
cs go is bad imo. yes there are custom game modes and maps, but i dont play them, i only play competitive. its only fun if you play stacks, solo q is frustrating and you meet many retards.i only play 5 man stacks.
i wish they would make a matchmaking system like that for cs 1.6
Competitive Stacking is the only thing that's fun.
I don't see anyone brushing, no big norwegian community, nothing like the CS/Source days.
I feel Valve/whoever produced CSGO tried too hard to keep up with Battlefield/CoD and make it too interesting, made the game bad.
CS GO has tryhards too, and whiners, same as dota's community
But the major difference is that u casually meet more GRILLS in cs, shouting ones, they use voice chat more often cus CS needs a better reflex overall
