maybe this minecraft nonsense skipped my generation but really wtf is the appeal with the game......................

You can do so much stuff there, but pvp is still broken I think.
Its fun. But as I said, I got full of it and made a huge break, now I feel like I want to play it again, but I hate playing solo.
Have you even tried it?

yea my younger brother played it before (5years younger) and I tried it, it seems like playing with lego......
... Don't know about you but I still find playing with Lego fun at 27!
I dont see the appeal of minecraft either, the game donest seem to have any kind of goal. Like how do you know you have won in minecraft?
^ well it has. You find this fortress which contains a portal. The portal can be activated with some kind of relics. After you enter the portal you can fight a dragon. After you defeat it yay you won.
You can still continue playing tho. The thing is that as you said beside building stuff i also dont see its goal. I mean it's nice at first but then it gets boring.
played it for a while with some friends it was cool but got boring fast, and there are a lot of dumb kids playing it, even more than dota
Idk, i tried servers back then when i was playing 2 years ago and they were full on nonsense and you were basically not allowed to do anything and people before you had built insane structures and you got like 20x20 blocks to build your stuff. PvE seems a lot more exciting to me (if u can call Minecraft exciting).
I very rarely play it because it is so relaxing. nothing really happens, you have to fulfill no expectations and noone flames - its just you and a world full of lego and zombies that try to eat your brain :)
