I abused TB before., with a lot of builds, experiments.. but today's TB need this kind of built in items
early : PMS, PT, RoB and Drums
mid : Yasha (later becomes Manta) and optional (Dominator)
late : Skadi and Heart (butterfly if ever)
- just push lanes

Sorry I'm not a fan of drum, powertreads TB. In my opinion it is a waste of inventory space.

How do you handle a Tinker with an ounce of brain? Eg. sees your push -> instantly stops it with 2 buttons.

Also I would probably kick your habit on bottle reliance.
Against tinker's march, I think there's a point where he runs out of mana and have to tp back to base, you can use that opportunity to push.
@Last picking, but i feel like bottle is essential on him, especially mid or solo. also, ty for the link.

I think it changes game to game. I watched this match http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/842973239 and just looked at your item history overall.
If I am mid I agree I would go bottle for sure or if I get off lane dire against a tri lane or radiant off lane (if lane is dual so I can check top and maybe gank mid).
I probably on average start with tangos, wards, 3-4 clarity (which is my addiction I need to break myself on) and try to get fast urn for when I am 6.
