because it's a stat site? What are you going to expect? casuals? Logically tryhards frequent a website like dotabuff because they care about their stats(wr, kda, gpm, xpm etc). Another thing is that in a tryhard forum(like this one) be prepared to be told that 2k is trash 3k is trash 4k is trash 5k is meh and 6k should be the default rating for a decent player(dramatization) . If you want more of a pleasant forum try reddit.
I haven't really seen any MMR boasting here maybe one or two at most, if you could pull up a few names to back your statement.. all i've seen is some faggotry from the usual toxic people and they dont even have MMR to back it up.
Anyway put yourself in the shoes of those people with high MMR, how would you feel if someone who clearly isn't at their level spreading mis-information and non-existent bragging rights or making baseless rage threads.
^you can always ignore those kinds of threads. You know IMO if you're waaaaaay higher in terms of skill than someone you don't even lower yourself to give any piece of attention to that person. There is also a saying don't feed the trolls.
Also not on this forum exclusivly, i've seen it on twitch chatrooms(the normal ones, not the kapparino), chat lobbies, dev forum etc etc. Heck when i see someone saying something like omg these 4k trashes it makes me look at myself and say:"damn if these are trashes then it means that i don't even deserve to play dota(at 2.5k which were i am currently staying)"
Now im not saying that they(the high mmr guys) should encourage the fuckeries like dunning krueger, flaming, or "riki op nerf pls", but if they are truly better than the most they should just ignore these threads. An ignored retarded thread dies fast without the need to block it.
They should be something like the PC gaming master race, gamers that don't even bother paying attention to the filthy console peasants.
