^+1 on that. I learned how to play supports "properly" by watching pro games etc. These skills are all useful, but in the lower MMR range (like me in the 3k+), you have to start playing greedily especially if you play solo.

Properly supporting only works with a decent team or a co-support.

At pro level, sometimes supports are greedy too
You can't deny that having brown boots and wards at 40 mins will hamper the team
I've seen a couple of times that Puppey farming alone on the lane to get some items going on as bane
Playing supports doesn't mean you don't need last hitting skill, But you need money just enough to buy necessities
and supports with good last hitting skills will get his necessary items faster.

One way to improve playing as supports is playing another role, with this you will know what will they think and what they need at certain situation, so you can respond to it

Me profile is also full of supports. Unfortunately, there are a couple or eyesores which I have to work on removing from view and I'm just a high 3k mmr scrub...Too many games end in one sided stomps here, it's getting boring.

Imho phase > Tranqs on cm anyday.
Other supports maybe not, but cm really need it. Even with that being said, it's more play style / situational.

Also, if you're gonna link me to shit, make sure it's about a year back. That's when I saw it. About 2 patches ago. Regardless I give a fuck less if some rand did it. Imho, it's better than tranqs on cm. I know the strengths and weaknesses of both items. I feel cm needs phase & blink to be effective, and it fits my play-style.

We talk about supports, right? Because Kuroky plays heroes like BH a lot, this is why his Phase Boots have good stats.

I never bought Blink Dagger on Crystal Maiden, maybe this is why I have higher winrate on her. =P

Sure, Phase Boots help you to run VERY FAST back to your base every time your HP is low. =)

Also you don't need extra 4 armor, because CM is not squishy at all.

Poor little CM is so slow that phase-active, which is percentage based, gives you a bit more speed than unbroken tranqs. I prefer the green boots of life so that I can use my superior juking skillz and freezing powers to let them remain active while charging in the opposite direction.

With tranqs you can get in, you cant get out. You can jump in with force or blink and then sit and die. With phase you can skip out. Yes you are hurt for regen, however if you dont over extend you wont need the regen. You can fight when needed, and not play scrubby.

You really think 4 armor is gonna stop shit if you get hit? God are you delusional.

Tranqs is only good for lion. (period)

I am a good support but not so dedicated. Support is boring most of the times.
