He is talking about "beating" him. Not beat with him. But he is pretty good against most melee heroes so you may wanna try ranged heroes like Viper and QoP.
oops i read wrong sorry, to beat seeker u must focus on denies more and harass him more than hes regenerating. the best will be OD (banish him and deny) , viper ( the ultimate midlane hero) , ta , and qop. but very important not to be surprised by his ulty keep checking his level when hes around 6 and when hes 5 be sure u have a good hp or else he can kill u , hes a hero that can dive behind ur tower , take the kill and run with decent hp
Your can wreck him on cooldown if someone from sidelane comes and ganks for you. He is a fucking paper at the start. Problem is, that people dont do that and then they blame someone that he lost mid, to a fucking seeker.
what monster said, except qop is a risky pick because of rupture. he lacks escape so try and gank him, but the best thing to do is zone him out. bring his hp lower, so he cant come for a last hit without a couple of hits, and force him back to base.

just out last hit him and call for ganks, hes a tough mid to really "beat", he is designed to be able to sit in lane and take harass without having to go back and heal.

smokes are even more viable on him to award wards, breaks MS cap like no other, i reached 783 ms and went from the bottom right corner of the map to the top t3 dire side in like 10 seconds

if bs buys a stout/pms, OD can't harass him out of the lane
I've been saying that BS is the most overlooked hero in the game. It's really hard to shut him down mid without tons of pressure.
his thrist ability is amazing and that 6.81 buff helped him a lot.

pick any one who can orb walk, or any one who can continually harass with out pulling creep agro (TA) and just force him out of lane, get a TP before he hits 6 so you don't die when he gets his ult.
It's not like he's not beatable. It's just how he lanes. I can get only 13-30 last hit the first 10-15 mintues, go around and gank as bs and take side towers and come up with radiance in 17-25 mintues. Thing is you have to make sure he doesn't go gank, also that you aren't harassed before level 6 so he can rupture you. Also have plenty of mana if you are Lina/Lion. Or harass him to fountain at least once as death prophet. Making sure he doesn't gank after 10 mintues on the side lanes and take towers. He will be severly handicapped. If he has the radiance component at 20-25 mintues in you basically fail as mid. Unless your team consist of many stunners and tanks.
JUST pick something u can harras the fuck out of him so he want even be able to get close to last hitting a creep (not healing up).
So heroes like huskar,viper seem best to me
I think slark is quite good vs bs in a solo vs solo lane. If he tries to last hit u can just hit him and essence shift will drain his stats and eventually he will be an easy kill for u if he is careless and try to last hit. Just get much regen and a shield and u can easy trade blows with him.
