CM requires good positioning which very few players can do in pub. That's why most crystal maidens in pubs contribute very little to the game except via the aura. In later stages of the game they become free food.

Supports are some of the most difficult roles to play in terms of positioning - making sure you don't become food mid-late is very difficult - far more difficult than owning on a core. Give it a break, it happens, there were probably times when you were a support with a fed core but still lost.

ya i had some of those games today, i know the feeling

it's worse when u know ur actual mmr range (4.7-4.9k) and u lose because u get 4 retards at a lower bracket (i had a nasty loss streak about 2 months ago, dropping from 4700 to ~4400 and I'm still not winning most of my games in a bracket 300 points lower now that i'm trying to play solo q on this account again (big mistake but whatever).

shit's a joke - i started feeding on purpose in one of my games today because everyone was fucking awful and i didn't feel like giving my team any chance of winning. fed courier, flamed everyone, etc. trash don't deserve to win games.

4000-4500 MMR players are the worst mouthbreathers I've encountered. i mean i've played with some 3.5-4k players and at least they know they're not anywhere near being good, but this group is just...holy shit lol.

my friend miasma is a 5.1-5.3k mmr player and he had a nasty loss streak in the past few days, and he's actually losing about half his games at 4800 MMR. just like me, he'll eventually get back up there but it'll take a pretty long time. basically it isn't hard to lose most of your games (play suboptimal heroes/don't try at all/etc. to "force" a loss) but winning isn't guaranteed even if there are more retards on the other team than on ur team.

once i hit 5k party MMR i'm probably going to flame sub 5k players harder than wavekami

i'm at 4865 ATM, i've played mostly duo queue and maybe 1-2 games in 3 party queues which is essentially the same shit as solo queue except i'm guaranteed NOT to have more than 3 retards that way (i.e even if my friend fails in his lane, he won't grief/afk/be useless like the shitbags i've run across today). and i haven't lost a single game going up from 4450 -> 4865, so i know it's my shitty teammates dragging me down at a lower MMR. basically if ur actual rating is higher than everyone else's and ur still not winning the game (i.e. 5k player on 4k account), blame it on bad luck. shit happens.

i think this also has to do with what I termed the "1v5" threshold. basically, at some point, maybe -500 from your average MMR (so let's say my average is 4700), you won't be able to win 1v5.

so if i'm playing on a 3900 account, and my entire team feeds like retards, i could still carry 1v5

if i'm playing on a 4400 account, which is still lower than my actual MMR, and my entire team feeds like retards, i won't have the skill to carry 1v5.

i guess if u want to win 1v5 games (and trust me, sometimes you won't even want to because your team is full of low skill trash who don't even deserve to get carried), just gotta improve your solo queue skill.
