I'd assume it works on his splash, but I doubt it worth buying it. This item build is very bad and requires ur supports to gather regen for you. Otherwise you'll just get outlaned by any mid hero
If Baumi goes mid with melee hero, he's going to have stout+quelling+tango... It's not necessarily good, but it's just a thing he does. Tidebringer is mostly unaffected by the bonus damage from QB. The bonus damage you get to the target though means that Kunkka has an incredibly high deny range with a quelling, because you get the Tidebringer bonus damage without splashing it and putting it on cooldown.

I was just looking to improve my gameplay and i came upon this Baumi channel in youtube. He went Mid with Kunkka with quelling blade, stout shiel , and a tango for his starting items. So.. does quelling blade work on Kunkka's attacks?
Does it affect his so-called "splash" damages?
