Go ranged heros who kite like mirana, drow, viper, clinkz even, sniper if you proc some headshots. Kill him before he gets to you, not that hard. Remember axe does basically no right click dmg, he is all his dot and counter helix so if you prevent him from helixing you you will win easily.

Bogi, try Lich. Lich is a solid pick vs axe, besides the fact u can play him offlane or support.

Y doom is quite good same as Naix probably. Tnx for advices, its really anoying every single game Axe,also LAST ONE but finnaly I won some fucking games vs that hero..

Dotabuff statistically says that Axe loses the most to Venomancer, Timbersaw, Phoenix, and AA.

Axe's spins will now use the PR algorithm. This means that after every spin, your chance to spin again will be slightly under the 17% but the chance will increase with every attack on you. Before, every attack would have a static 17% to proc a spin. This makes Axe's spins more reliable, a lot less "99999 spins in a row" and a lot less "1 game, 0 spins".

As for counters anybody with a Hex like Shadow Shaman or Lion is simply hell for Axe. Just hex him and burst him and Axe will be the least of you worries in lane.

On a side note, no squishy heroes. Axe loves squishy heroes and cuts down your effective HP by a full 250 as soon as he hits lvl 6.
250 hurts a lot less when you have 1k hp at lvl 6 than 600.

Awesome. That's a buff to my 1-spin-per-teamfight Axe and a welcome nerf to my enemy helicopter Axes.

necrophos is good (axe is a free kill when he drops to ~40% hp which is going to happen in like 99% of teamfights) but let's not kid ourselves - nobody knows how to play that hero properly
