on radiant:
stay kinda left to your t3 tower, this way the 1 meele creep won't split from the rest and you can already start blocking here instead of t2.
on dire:
just wait on the stairs and start blocking
also having fast reactions/spamming clicks/moving side to side
all adds up in blocking
if u can keep the creep centered between your hero while ur moving back n forth or left to right, it'll generally have a harder time moving
sometimes a creep will just get stuck with another one and stay there until it's in attack range of an enemy unit
just personal speculation/experience
There are 2 types of block I generally try to do.
1. Arteezy block: If on Radiant side, stand infront of ranged rax before creeps spawn, then run infront of the creeps as they spawn and block them. This allows you to start you block much earlier than normal.
2. Release ranged creep: Regular block of the creeps, except don't block the ranged creep. This causes it to run up ahead of all the other creeps and get aggroed by the enemy creep wave which quickly kills it.

that use to be suggested all the time
but is only useful if you have the lane advantage and can take any potential harass from the enemy, as illustrated in chaq's guide i believe
also you can (for me, F-click) the enemy and the creeps will agro you. (Attack move or whatever its called) This way you can pull creeps up on ur highground.
thanks guys , but does any one of u know how to let the screen follow ur hero ? without u moving it when ur hero is at the end ?
