Also pub and pro meta are two very different things. Pub meta you've just got to figure out lol.
The current meta is people picking and playing/ randoming pudge when they have no idea and therefor ruining the game by being fucking awful. To keep up with it I recommend flaming and then abandoning so you don't waste time. That's pub meta anyway

So, If I were to play in captains, there is usually a flavor of the month hero that maybe I should ban. There could be this one hero comp that is crazy OP and maybe I want to try it, or maybe a duo lane of a pair of specific heroes does really well at the moment.
How exactly do I know about this stuff. All I've done in the time that I have played this game is just play and learn about mechanics through videos and guides. I don't know how to identify which are the strong or popular heroes at the moment, or just in general what the meta is. Any help?
