He's squishy thanks to his ability to stay OUT of fights. Proper positioning with sleight means you will seldom enter the fray. This is the reason most people just focus on damage items instead of BKB and whatnot.
Phase botle drums, bf, than deso/dedalus theres not other ways to play best ember spirit. In some cases you can also go mana boots instead of phase. But dont plz go bloodstone its kinda noobish ;x
if you have a bf why would you get desolator afterwards. cleave damage is not reduced by armour, nor is it amplified by negative armour.
It still amplifies your base damage and provides the debuff so your teammates can capitalize on it.
Synergy? Not so much...
Effectiveness? Still works.
Though I tend to skip bfury because it is a really situational item.
bfury is not situational. I cant find the pic but basically unless you are always fighting 1v1 no creeps no teammates then yes u can skip bfury. But that rarely ever happens

Hi, so first sorry i just speak an average english but i still understand most of the informations.
I started to play Ember Spirit and i see that some plays him as pure Carry/Ganker and anothers who build him with a Bloodstone cause of his mana issues and tankiness.
I'm new in Dota but agree that Ember can be sometimes a bit too squishy if he takes an hard focus or against tanky oriented teams
He is also really manadependent so the Blood can give both or maybe a Likk' Sphere.
But my idea was about building instead of Blood Eyes of Skaldi, it gives a nice proc on second skill and gives a load of stats.
Is it a bad idea ?
